I find it so fulfilling to play a small role in someone's special day. Having a live musician is an easy way to elevate your wedding and make it magical. My goal is to provide an immaculate vibe for you and your guests.

I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. As a teenager, I went to boarding school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, where I was paired with a roommate who had a guitar. I picked up his guitar one day to mess around with it, and I haven’t stopped playing since!

I went on to graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill three times over – a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in psychology – but I maintained an active music career while completing my degrees. After graduating, I dove headfirst into the music scene in North Carolina, where I now perform with my band XOXOK as lead guitarist and vocalist.

When I’m not playing music, I enjoy running, spending time with my wife Sara and my dog Lando, and exploring all the coffee shops in Durham.
